1 Organizational Culture Can Help Reduce Burnout in Hospitals 1. In building a successful organization culture I would have to start with blending new team members with experienced team members to help build and cultivate a supportive/nurturing environment in a stressful career field. I would work with department leaders to develop a “rotation program” to increase productivity, prevent stagnation, explore alternative career paths, and job boredom (Society for Human Resource Management 2012). In having a job development program in place the employee will develop more skills, become more adaptive, and more engagement in his/her job. I'll also build into rotation program managers engaging employees in planning their rotation and career timeline with communication flow going both ways. Burnout and job boredom is going to happen; I just want to mitigate it as much as possible.
