Nate Mekonen CLCV 115 Discussion 10-20-16 Bryce Response #8 1. After the death of Patroclus, Achilles decides to return to the battle and vows to kill as many of the Trojans as he can. This story is predicted by Zeus when he said earlier that Troy would eventually lose and fall. As a reader, even though I already knew what was going to happen, it was still pretty shocking to see that Zeus told the future. 2. Homer makes the fight against the river the main focus of his description of Achilles’ return because when Achilles was killing the Trojans, he was dumping them into the river
