Dear Mr DiPuala, My Name is Taylor Johnson, I am a Junior at Hammond High School and we just recently spoke about my appeal for acceptance into National Honors Society. I was not aware until after I turned in my application that I could turn in a letter with my application otherwise I definitely would have, and I was told it was not necessary anyway since the incident last year resulted in a detention, not office referral. I would like to believe that Mrs. Jones gave me a detention instead of an office referral, because I had never had any problems with her or any of my classmates before, but I cannot confirm whether it was that or the severity of the situation. I just wanted to send this letter in hopes you would share it with the NHS committee when you are reviewing my case and to clarify anything that I may have not said properly during our meeting. I did not feel I explained everything to the best of my ability mostly because of my nerves and emotions. Like I said in our meeting I had been continuously bothered by a person online and
