The difference in distance When places are thousands of miles apart, it is only natural that they would be evidently different in culture and practices. For example, some eastern cultures could be a bit more conservative and can be very strict in following ancient traditions, while some western cultures can be liberated and progressive. This could be illustrated in Native American and Indian cultures. Because the two are separated between masses of land and water, many differences can be noted between the two cultures. The distinctions between these two cultures are most evident in their religion, matrimonial celebrations, and art. In Native American culture, religious beliefs differ from tribe to tribe. Each tribe has their own set of beliefs and custom traditions, but all of which are ultimately the same in principle. For one, Native Americans believe in many gods or spirits that are present in everyday objects or places such as stones and rivers.
