Comments of the German Delegation to the Paris Peace 2 At the end of the WW1, an agreement was made, and Versailles Treaty was signed. It was supposed to unite and bring equality to all parties involved in the war, “belligerents, conquers and the conquered in a system of common rights (German delegation, 1919). “This treaty demanded Germany to accept the blame for the war and it proposed specific punishments on the Germans, which ended up damaging the country as a whole. The Germans were outrage and argued what was proposed in the treaty. Some complaints included; ensured Germany was in debt to other countries, economic development was to be hampered by canals and railroads ordered to be built on Germany’s property to be used for whatever the foreign authorizes wanted and their rivers were to be managed by the international
