Leaders must recognize the patterns within their workforce because it can influence the company’s performance and future standings. According to Baack (2017) defines organizational behavior as, “the investigation of the behavioral factors that affect modern organizations and their management at the individual, group, and in organization-wide levels”(para. 1.1). Therefore, the organization and management must understand the connection of the human element that affects their business. What determines the organization longevity is how management and employees set the culture structure to continue delivering their products and services, the continued developments of new technology, and adapt to change caused by market trends. The research will address how Ross Dress for Less maintain their organization’s growth and functioning operations. This analysis will define the type of culture the organization established, modes of communication, nature of authority, the different techniques of motivation, the areas of EQ incorporated and the ways which the components of virtual elements embraced within the company.Organizational OverviewRoss Dress for Less provides affordable off-price apparel and home fashion to their customers. The company’s efforts were to bring bargains to those who could not pay for name brands at a higher price but at a lesser cost to enjoy dressing in fashion and decorating their homes with (Ross Stores, Inc., 2017). The success of Ross Stores created opportunities for expansion to other states to bring this shopping experience to everyone. This company is one of the largest retailers that redesign the store layout to market their products, better practices in processing merchandise out to the floor, and continuous training with their staff (Ross Stores, Inc., 2017). The popularity of Ross Stores signifies that consumers connection of paying less for

Let's explore more of the company's culture and its human behavior relations.Type of CultureAccording to Dunphy (2013) described, “the United States was considered a melting pot due to the many different backgrounds of the people here.” Melting pot displays the dominant culture that everyone must exemplify first and not mix identities while doing their work. The other typesof culture are dualism, pluralism, and salad bowl. Dualism is two different elements that can bothexist equally like United States trading with Canada (Robinson, 2017).
