BACKWARD DESIGN LESSON PLAN 2 Lesson title : Heathy fruits Step 1—Desired Results Content Standards: Grade 4- Refer to details and examples in a text when explaining what the text says explicitly and when drawing inferences from the text. Grade 7- Cite several pieces of textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text. Grade 9-10- Determine a central idea of a text and analyze its development over the course of the text, including how it emerges and is shaped and refined by specific details; provide an objective summary of the text. Student objectives (outcomes): The outcomes: By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to: 1- Talk about the fruits they like. 2- Ask and answer questions about the fruits they like. 3- Know about common fruits in the Arab World. 4- Know why they are important to our bodies fruits.
