A worldview is based on how someone views the world around them and it also plays a
role in how they live their lives or respond to things around them, especially their own ethical
and moral decisions. Christianity is a religion that teaches about Jesus Christ in which over 376
million people follow the teachings of Jesus. “I am the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6,
NIV) is a great example for a quote that describes how Christians tend to base their worldview
on as they only believe in one God who created all that exists, but is also relational and personal.
The most significant part of a Christian worldview is how one views God, Jesus, humanity, and
the fact that we are natural sinners, but try to live a life that God would want us to live all while
making him proud and limiting our sins through limitation.
God
God is the creator of all things which fully means that he is complex and nobody will
ever be able to understand him completely. He is the Trinity which consists of God the Father,
the Son, and the Holy Spirit which are three identifiable persons who have their own personal
function. In the New Testament, the believers of God knew him as “the creator, sustainer, and
law-giver; they knew Jesus as the one who taught them, cleansed their feet, and died on the cross
and rose again” (Johnson, 2014). God’s characteristics include being perfect, full of love, being
righteous, full of wisdom, and the list could go on for eternity. God is the creator of all things as

mentioned above, but specifically he is the maker of both heaven and Earth and everything in
between whether it be visible or invisible. He created humanity in his image and continues to
bless us each and every day.
