SWA #2 Kant’s Moral Philosophy Writing in complete sentences and in your own words, identify three main ideas in Immanuel Kant's Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals , Preface and First Section. First Section (i.) Ones action is moral only if it is not based on the outcome but on the act itself. (ii.) The highest good for humans is happiness. (iii.) The notion of duty raises the good of a will. In one complete sentence, and in your own words, state the most important or the main idea from among those you’ve identified in (1.). The most important main idea from Section 1 to me is, ones’ action is moral only if it is not based on the outcome but on the act itself. Writing in complete sentences, and in your own words, list 2 reasons the author gives in support of the idea identified in (2.) above. (i.) One reason the author Kant gives to support this idea is that if a good will is done in disapproval or in hope of getting something in return then the good will lacks the capacity to carry through its full purpose.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
