Richard Shaver Professor Dave Harrison ACCT 334 PC 10/31/17 The Break Evens As I reflected over this chapter on the Breakeven analysis, I have begun to realize that my Professor Dr. Harrison has been right from the start the main goal is always about making a profit. I mean that what it all really comes down to in the end. Most companies and self-owned business try to do this by figuring out how many units of a product must be sold to make a certain amount of profit. The method is quite simple really. I learned from my uncle many years ago when I wanted to start a hot dog stand at a very young age. I will explain the breakeven method you’re probably wondering what is that. My uncle Bruce was a very smart business man and I wanted to start a hot dog stand one day, so I approached him and gave give him what I call a quick synapsis of my idea. I went through my business proposal about selling hot dogs, after I got done speaking with my uncle he asked me how much was I going to sell my hot dogs for and how much did it cost to make them to break even.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
