Jake Ozer’s Key Findings feel. Career 1: General Manager This career is my number one choice and the major that I feel best fits me for many reasons. First, it uses my top interest of managing people and teams. A true passion of mine is fantasy football, and this will be a more real life version of this, as I will need to use my strengths to manage the strengths of other co-workers to best assemble a team. Next, the average starting salary of $55,685 would help provide me with a sense of security, which is a key characteristic of my personality type and will allow me to get off to a confident start to my career. Finally, I find being a general manager fun, which is one of my top values. I find it fun because it takes experimenting to find the correct roles for each person, so once I succeed in this it will give me a sense of accomplishment, which is fun for me to feel. Career 2: Consulting friend. Career 2: Consulting A career in consulting is another one of my top choices for many reasons. First off, it fits my values, interests, and personality type in many ways. I find it really interesting how while majoring in marketing, I will gain a great first hand experience of how the industry works through working with real companies and cases. Secondly, the consulting career would be a great starting point for me, as it is the highest paid marketing career on average. Also, it allows me to use both my top strengths by forcing me to manage people until they are at a place they want to be and I will need to be creative to think of new ways to help them. Finally, it allows me to use one of my top values, friendship, because once I consult someone with great advice, they will gain trust in me and consider me a friend.

Top Values Family: Family plays a huge role in my life. Throughout my entire childhood, the one thing my parents preached more than anything else to me was the importance of family, as these are the people in my life who will undoubtebly be with me throughout everything and always have my back. Through all the highs and lows of my life, I know I can count on my family to be there for me and it is very important for the give back to them throughout life, which is why this is my number 1 value. Friendship: Similar to family, my close friends always have had my back and I will always have theirs. They are the people I would go to war with and I wouldn’t be able to do anything in life if I didn’t have them by my side. They both keep me motivated to succeed and help me throughout everything I am going for and it definitely does not go unappreciated.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
