This article by Occupy Theory summarizes both the negative and the positive outcomes beauty pageants bring. It ranges from the discipline and skills that are learned throughout the contest to all the negative features the contestants can end up having, for example, depression. The author is trying to target all the contestants that are in beauty pageants, parents, and any teen that wants to get involved with pageants as well. Although there wasn’t a specific author, the article included sufficient evidence to provide certainty of what its stating. The article relates to the rest of the sources given because it informs not only the negative side of beauty pageants but also the positive. In addition, since it provides both sides of the topic it supports it and also contradicts.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
