Shannon McIlhenney Nutrition Amanda Gowin October 18, 2017 Behavior change There are many different things a person can choose to change about their eating habits like drinking more water, eating less carbohydrates, and eating more protein the list can go on and on. While looking at the different aspects in my diet and eating habits, there is always one thing I want to work on is eating more fruits. I enjoy eating fruit when I do remember to eat it but it’s become me eating fruit 2 times a month which isn’t good for my diet as an athlete. Fruit has many different benefits to eating and including it into your daily diet, and in the end, can have a great overall effect on your body. The first thing I read about eating fruit on a more daily basis, is that it helps with our immunity. You can find many vitamins, minerals and, other nutrients that are important that can help our bodies defend and fight off diseases faster. For example, eating fruits like oranges,
