What is a topology? A network topology is the arrangement of a network, including its nodes and connecting lines. There are two ways of defining network geometry: the physical topology and the logical (or signal) topology. 2. What is the most common topology in place today? Star 3. Explain the difference between a collapse, distributed, and parallel backbones: a. Collapsed advantages: Interconnect different subnetwork types Central management b.
