FINANCIAL STATEMENTS REVIEW 2 Financial Statements Review The Patton-Fuller Community Hospital has financial statements that show how the hospital has done in 2008 and 2009. The financial statements they have are a balance sheet (unaudited), statement of revenue and expense (unaudited), statement of retained earnings and stockholder’s equity (audited), and statement of cash flows. The balance sheet shows all of their assets, liabilities, and equity. The statement of revenue and expenses shows the revenues and expenses, also the net income. Statement of retained earnings and stockholder’s equity has the beginning and ending earnings and equity, along with any other revenue and dividends paid. Statement of cash flows how any cash flow throughout the company. These statements are documented to compare how the hospital does from one year to another. It will help the hospital see what does or doesn’t need improvements and where their gains and losses are. The Patton-Fuller financial statements include a balance sheet, statement of revenue and expense, statement of retained earnings and stockholders' equity, and statement of cash flows.
