Whether startups or conglomerate in size, all companies are in the spotlight regarding

While pursuing optimal profits is the primary goal of multinationals, these firms are expected to show concern to the interests of their stakeholders and other things that do not necessarily involve making profits (Harjoto, Laksmana and Lee 2015). In the recent few years, the world particularly the environment has been undergoing significant transformation thus affecting the quality of life. Some unethical behaviors of organizations such as pollution, oil spills, exploitation of land, displacing families and damaging natural resources have raised concerns towards the quality of life of the current and future generations (Christie and Hanlon 2014).
