Slide 7 contains statistics from 2016 about occupied and vacant homes in numbers and percent.In around 2004, when they peaked at the home-ownership, its highest was 69%. A lot changed since then and now.Total Vacant Year Round homes, 56% are in foreclosure, not being sold and such.Slide 8 contains statistics of types of houses.A significant amount of renter shares are in single family dwellings.Slide 9 is a graphic of Slide 8Slide 10Renters are non-ubiquitous, not as dominated. The table is more spread out.Most of Owner-Occupied are of Single-Family units.Slide 11In the recent 2006-2012 statistics, most of the growth, about 60%, comes from Single-Family homes in the RENTAL SUPPLY. This shows an example of more people want to rent than own homes.
