My family and I have experienced a lot of things which developed family relationship. Going to beach in Florianopolis, Brazil, one state south of the state we lived, was one of our essential rituals during summer break and having dinner at a restaurant nearby the yacht harbor. This meal was important to our family because of the taste, smell, texture, and appearance of the meal itself. For appetizer we always ordered salad with Palmito , heart of a young palm, and also for the drink we get Caipirinha, a cocktail prepared in brandy glass with squished lime, sugar, and caçasa, vodka-like alcohol made from sugar cane. Before the main dish, Moqueca, our family discusses how that particular year was with the drink while we wait for the food.
