Shamail Fatimah Mrs. Lagomarsino American Literature 11 Honors/Period 2 April 28, 2017 Searching Life Just like English, symbolism itself is a unique language of pictures and words that speak to everyone. However, unlike any other language, symbolism combines all languages in the world, from Chamicuro to English. One may have to go out and learn another language in order to communicate in a specific area but symbolism doesn’t require learning, it’s what the mind see’s and absorbs. The Catcher in the Rye is a confessional written by J.D. Salinger in the first person point of view. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
