W H AT AM I TRYING TO ACCO M PLISH ? Throughout my research I have found some interesting ideas and thoughts on school uniforms. My plan is to educate and inform everyone on how uniforms can change the lives of children in the United States. I will be discussing how by wearing uniforms the bullying rate could be significantly decreased, how the overlaying costs may be a factor in the decision to not enforce them, and also how the stigma surrounding them places a negative light into peoples eyes.

BULLYING IN ELEM EN TARY SCH O O LS Bullying is an issue in EVERY school in America and in the past years has become increasingly worse in elementary schools. “ In one large study, about 49% of children in grades 4-12 reported being bullied by other students.” The children that were surveyed described horror stories and even made claims that the younger students are being some of the worst bullies. The reasoning given for this is based on their age, the older students do not feel they have the right to stand up and defend themselves in fear of getting into trouble with adults. Bullying The Biggest Problem in Elementary Schools. America.edu. 18 March 2011. Web. 27 November 2017.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
