The experiment was conducted on August 8 th , 2017 in the civil engineering lab following the procedures outlined in the book for ASTM C127 and ASTM C29. Two experiments were carried out i.e. experiment No. 7 for determining Specific Gravity & Absorption of Coarse Aggregates and experiment No. 9 for determining the Bulk Unit Weight & Voids in Aggregates. The research team included Ali Alshehri and other three members.

Surname2 The results of the experiment were computed as follows. For Experiment No. 7: Bulk Specific Gravity = A/ (B - C) = 7.12/ (7.98 – 4.1760) = 1.87 Bulk Specific Gravity (SSD) = B/ (B – C) = 7.98/ (7.98 - 4.1760) = 2.10 Apparent Specific Gravity = A/ (A - C) = 7.12/ (7.12 – 4.1760) = 2.42
