They have known as the “Love Airline” because they have outstanding hospitable and lovable employees. However, the airline company was challenged by George Wilson and 100 other male job applicants because the airline company allegedly discriminates them due to their job qualifications. According to the Southwest Airlines, they want to retain the concept of love as their public image that is why the company relied on hiring female ticket agents and flight attendants rather than male applicants. The plaintiff, George Wilson, accused the Southwest Airlines that they only hire attractive female applicants to attract more customers, (United States District Court for the Northern District Texas).
