Approximate time needed: 3040 minutes (depending on the size of the class). Description: This activity asks each student to take an item that they maybe carrying with them on that particular day and talk about why it is important to them. It could be a picture, business card, figurine, key chain, etc. (try to avoid cell phones, palms, planners and the like). The students will reflect in writing about this object then share the story of the object with the larger group. The intent is to learn more about one another through `doing' selfdisclosure.
