What is Class Class is a template, a prototype or a blue print that defines an object. It simply describes the characteristics (aka properties or attributes) and behavior of an object. Characteristics are the data items inside a class Behavior represents methods/functions of the class. A class is used to specify the form of an object and it combines data representation and methods for manipulating that data. The data and functions within a class are called members of the class.
