Page 1 of 2 EE284 Fouad Tobagi Fall 2017-18 Mini-Project Instructions and Suggested Topics November 9, 2017 The mini-project is meant to complement the basic material covered in class and dealt with in weekly homework assignments and exam problems. It represents an opportunity for you to have a window into the field of networking today and its richness beyond that which can be covered in class. It is self-directed: you choose the topic you would like to explore and the extent of exploration, limited by time and space constraints. While this handout suggests topics to choose from, by no means are you limited to the suggestions therein. The mini-project is to be done in groups of 2. It is important to find a partner as soon as possible, and to jointly select a topic. If you do not have a partner, please send an email to the course assistant as soon as possible so that he may assist you with finding a partner. Provide suggestions of topics in your request for a partner, as this information may be useful in matching you with a student with the same interest. It is
