A document to guide your studying for exam 1 in Sustainable Environments, Fall 2017 Exam 1 will be worth 125 points, or in other words 12.5 percent of your final grade. It will consist of 3 short answer questions worth 10 points each, and 25 multiple choice questions worth 3 points each, and five fill-in-the-blank worth 4 points each. There will actually be 5 short answer, but you’ll choose which 3 you answer. Short answer means a paragraph or so. There is no ‘word bank’ for the fill-in-the-blank, but all answers will be found either on a PPT slide, or is discussed at length in one of the readings. Questions will come from a combination of the readings and lecture, but more on the lecture. The readings for this exam are: Introduction to This Changes Everything Climate Change open-text Introduction to Merchants of Doubt Questions from the reading will be of a fairly broad nature, but I do suggest either underlining (if you printed them out) or taking notes. I will not ask about specific details. As far as the questions about lecture, if you can answer the open-ended questions below you should be able to answer multiple choice/bill-in-the-blank/short answer questions on the test. Questions corresponding to the readings are not necessarily covered in the questions below. I suggest you imagine
