According to Bell Hooks, it is important to study popular culture because it brings cultures together.
It invites all cultures to learn about one another in their own individual ways. For instance, movies
and TV shows have various paradigms in them that allows everybody to view it in their own
perspective. This also gives the opportunity to see certain things in someone else perspective, giving
people the chance to understand the other side of the fences. Even though this may all seem like a
blend of propaganda, it is what people need to build bridges between certain themselves and others.
When Bell Hooks says, “Popular Culture is where the learning takes place”, she means that
pedagogical is where the learning takes place. The impact that pedagogy has on a primary source is
served as a medium to get people to understand their differences. Once people can overstep those
