MEMO-EXECUTIVE SUMMARY TO: Dr. Robert Trumpy, Professor, CWU FROM: Edgar Saldana, ADMG 471, CWU DATE: January 22, 2018 SUBJECT: Identifying and Describing Your Organization Initially identifying the organization through research will help an OD consultant with the entry phase of the OD process. This document serves as identifying who Dean Backholm Landscape  Design  is before contracting the organization. The next part of this document will discuss the four phases that will be undertaken for this class case analysis: Entry, Contracting, Diagnosis, and Feedback. Lastly there will be a timeline of contact meetings/points with the organization to develop through the four stages. Identifying Dean Backholm Landscape : Dean Backholm Landscape Design is a landscaping corporation (S-corp) with one subsidiary: Dean Backholm Landscape Design, Inc . The company has about 5 total employees. Dean  Backholm Landscape  builds and maintains cellular towers and antennas for cellular phone companies. Dean Backholm Landscape services  fall into two major categories: New Site Construction and Maintenance, Modifications, and Upgrade Services. Regarding new site construction, Dean uses the latest technologies to engineer cost-effective networks for each customer’s wireless communication requirements. Dean routinely constructs the follow new site types: raw land monopole and self-supporting lattice towers, light poles, pine and flag poles, utility poles, co-locations, roof tops, water tanks, and complex sites such as mountain top sites requiring helicopters for concrete placement and tower erection. The maintenance, modifications, and upgrade services is a very broad area that can cover almost anything pertaining to site performance, ranging from: highly-technical items that may include, but are not limited to installing and replacing computer servers, solar panels, or microwave radio devices; non-
