‘Cultural Competence/Diverse People/Cultural Safety’
CHCECE001: This co-assessment will strengthen your knowledge of cultural competency. It will
also help you to understand, accept and support other cultures in various ways including settings
in early childhood.
CHCDIV001: This co-assessment will assist you to appreciate diversity and inclusivity. It will
enhance your communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds. It will also help you to
build relationships with children and their families in Early Childhood Education and Care
services.
CHCDIV002: This co-assessment will support your knowledge of cultural safety in an early
childhood setting in regards to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. You will develop
strategies to enhance cultural safety in the workplace.
This written report will assess performance evidence, knowledge evidence and the following
elements:
