ASTHMA AND STEPWISE MANAGEMENT2Asthma and Stepwise Management According to Falk, Hughes, and Rodgers (2016) there are approximately 25 million individuals diagnosed with Asthma in the United States of America. Asthma is a disease that affects the airways due to the narrowing effects it has on the airway. Asthma is no respecter of age and can occur in all ages but it has been discovered that most asthma develops childhood ( Arcangelo, Peterson, Wilbur, & Reinhold, 2017). It will be imperative to know that there is currently no cure for asthma but there are treatments or managing the disease. The symptoms of asthma is not uniform in all individual, they differ. For individuals suffering from asthma the clinician role is to prescribe a suitable avenue of managing and treating this respiratory disease base on the severity of the attacks.Long-term ControlThere are different control methods for asthma based on the fact there is no cure
