Tasks performed from one computer can affect the other computers on the network; client/server network, client is a computer on which users accomplish tasks and make requests, whereas server is the computer that provides info or resources to the client computers as well as central admin for network functions such as printing. 7. Definition/Examples of a Locally Administered Network? The configuration and maintenance of the network must be performed on each individual computer attached to the network; peer-to-peer (p2p), each node connected to network can communicate directly with every other node on the network. 8. Is unshielded coaxial cable used in wired networks? No, unshielded twisted-pair (utp), composed of four wires twisted around each other to reduce electrical interference.
