Part 1: About my team & Part 2: Building a great teamPart 1: About my team How did you develop your team in Week Two?Well as we had worked together before we all knew how to work as a great team. Billie was new to our team but he fit in well, letting us know his plans the same thing that we all do, as they come up. He asked to be given an assignment because he was going to be gone most of the week, and our team leader didn’t do that or keep track of what was taken. We all split the work up and text, email, and post on the school site to ask forhelp share our thoughts and plan how to get all the work done. We really knew how to just jump into the work and we didn’t have to wait for our leader to tell us what to do. I know this can also pull some of the pressure off of her shoulders. Did you require a team leader? We didn’t require it but we did pick one that way we have just one person turning in the work, and if somethinghappened where one member did not do their part we had some one who could report it to the teacher. We also have a leader to ask the teacher questions so that way the teacher is not asked the same question by each team member. If yes, how was that determined? As many of us didn’t care about being leader and Shevada was a great leader to us in the last class we just asked if she would take the spot. She knows how to plan the deadlines really well and take each part of the paper and pull it together. How did you divide the workload for the Week Two assignment? We each just took a part from part one and a part from part two and got to work, then three of us put the part one paper together and the other three put part two paper together. But many parts were left unpicked and ourleader just did them rather then use the team to help, in a way she let some of our skills be unused. How were decisions made in your group? As a team, when some one had an idea they would post it to the team and we would all agree or disagree with the idea.
