2About my team & Effective team buildingPart 1: About my teamHow did you develop your team in Week Two?-I think we continue to develop every week that we work together but fortunately for us we were all with the exception of Billie on the same team in our last class. He was not used to our method of just picking sections to do so we assigned him a section since he was gone most of the week and let us know ahead of time. We attempt to split the work up evenly so that we are all contributing to the assignments and also offer suggestions to other team members if needed. We also text, call, email and post on the forum if questions or concerns arise which I feel helps our team run smoothly. We all try to be proactive and not wait for a portion to be assigned to us. Did you require a team leader?-I don’t think we required a team leader but felt it is important to have a liaison to make sure all sections are done, piece our papers together and turn them in after getting approval from us all. If yes, how was that determined?-Well Shevada was the team lead in our previous class so we asked her to lead again and she is really good at it. She lets us work on our individual sections and then puts it all together sothat our papers are clear and concise and cover all aspects of assignment.
3About my team & Effective team buildingHow did you divide the workload for the Week Two assignment?-Since there were 2 parts and plenty to choose from we all picked a portion from each section. There was however a section that was missed and when our leader noticed she took the initiative and completed it. How were decisions made in your group?-We posted our suggestions on the forum and the team would vote to keep take suggestion or not to take it.Distribution of work-I felt as if the work was distributed even amongst our team. We didn’t have any one complain about having to do more work than anyone else and once we completed our portionwe offered to help in any other area.
