It was established in January 1976, and the basic purpose of the company is selling the personal computers in the market as wholesale. The founder of Apple are Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne, they develop Apple in order to sell the personal computers. But after the involvement of technology, the Apple become one of the regulatory technology company in the world (Carlton, et al., 1997). Now Apple is dealing with iPod, iPhone, digital watches, iTunes and different iOS and macOS operating system. The company is dealing with the hardware as well as software of the products (Linden, et al., 2007). The company begins with a simple structure with the agenda of selling personal computers in the market. But with significant growth and momentum revenue generation force the owners of the company to come with change and innovation, so they hire a staff of computer designer and extend their production with the help new adopting latest technology. The best thing they did in order to achieve market edge, is to design the product and align it with the need of the consumer (Amelio et al., 1998). After getting the competitive edge in the operating system the company with the help of upgraded technology extended it product line produce many new products and introduce in the market (Satariano et al., 2011). The best strategy which Apple use in order to capture the market is cost leadership and quality leadership. Apple uses different techniques in order to capture a large amount of market share and revenue. As with the passage of time the market for personal computer increase, when Apple faces diminishing in their sales they change their selling strategy. The selling strategy includes technology upgradation and product diversity in order to retain the leader of the market (Schwartz et al, 2013|).

The revenue generation of the company is more than the US $700 billion. This is the second largest mobile producer company after Samsung. The company is operating in more than 22 countries. It has also 489 retail stores in 22 countries (Kraemer et al., 2011). The Apple is one of the biggest information technology company in the world with the largest workforce of 123,000 active employees. The company believes in rapid innovation culture in order to succeed in the market (Apple, 1999) the company culture has the capability to support change and adopt the new policies of the innovation.
