Sierra HildebrandtOpsanus tau2Discussion:Trinectes maculates (Hogchoker)Foraging method: grazer Feeding guild: demersal mesocarnivoreThe Hogchoker is categorized as a demersal microcarnivore due to its small mouth located on the opposite side of eyes with small villiform teeth. This species is placed under grazer because of its cryptic coloring that allows it to blend with the bottom and its depressed body shape with both on eyes located on top.
