Grace Li 1-20-2016 FRQ Assignment Student A deserves a 7 out of 8. The student correctly identifies the research method used by Dr. Franklin as a survey, which is one point. However, the student does not receive a point for one of the operational definitions of key variables because the student said that the, “amount of stress the students were experiencing” was a key variable. Instead, the student should have written stress severity, stress rating, stress questionnaire, stress score, and self-report of stress as a key variable. However, the student did receive point when describing the operational definition of the key variable, physical illness, because the student stated that physical illness was measured by attendance records. The student received a point when he explained that Franklin’s study was ethical because he provided the purpose to his participants since the procedure is required by the APA. The student received another point when he explained how Franklin’s study was unethical by requiring all females to participate since it should be voluntary, and they should be allowed to quit. The student successfully identified one technique that Dr. Franklin could use to represent the relationship between variables in the study and received one point.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
