The case that I have chosen to brief is Jae Lee v. United States. This case is a case of a young man
that was from South Korea he came to the United States at 13 he has spent over 35 years in the United
States and didn't never reappearance to South Korea and has he converted a US national he has been
existing in state is a legitimate lasting abode.
According to "Supreme Court Of The United States" (2017),
“In 2008 for officials received a tip from
an informant confidential that Lee was selling ecstasy and marijuana. After doing some of investigation
only and getting evidence officials attained a warrant to search Lee's house where they found drugs cash
and a loaded rifle. At the beginning of this case Lee said that the drugs were his and he was indicted on
one count of possession of ecstasy with the intent to distribute “(

Lee than retain counsel he entered the plea discussion with the government during this process he
worried that he may face extradition his attorney guaranteed him that he would not be extradited for
the reason that of pleading guilty to the plea agreement.
Now Lee excepted the plea based on their insurance his sentencing for this was one day and a year.
