Martin 1 Heather Martin ENG 111 Dr. Timothy Robinson 7 November, 2016 Taking an Order at Chick-fil-A “Welcome to Chick-fil-A!” you hear as you enter through the double doors. You see their warm smiles and calm demeanor, but do you know how much is going on behind the counter as a Chick-fil-A employee serves a customer or even takes an order? Well, this is going to be a crucial part of your new job, so listen carefully to learn how to serve a customer remarkably. Before actually learning how to take an order, there are a few things you must keep in mind. Your goal as an employee of Chick-fil-A is to strive to be remarkable in everything that you do while your most important task is to treat every customer with respect and kindness, even if they may not return it. Remember, the customer is always right. Another important thing to remember is that you will have a lot of pressure as an employee of Chick-fil-A because of their reputation for customer service, so it’s imperative that you maintain a good attitude as well as sincerity. Finally, you should always be alert and ready for any customers instead of chatting with coworkers. Getting a job can be a great social outlet, but
