Meredith Babski    Many adults have a preference for having a son or a daughter.    Interview three adults of several ages  and backgrounds about their preferences.    If they give the socially preferable answer (”It does not  matter.”), ask how they think the two sexes differ.    Listen and take notes – don’t debate.    Analyze the  implications of the responses you get. My fiancé: He would prefer a son because, “They are easier to raise…with girls you have to watch out for the boys they date and protect them more.” Tyler would also like to take his son to do activities like hiking, shooting, kayaking, and camping. He would be able to communicate more easily with a boy. But ultimately, he would be happy with either gender baby, as long as we have a baby. Analyze: Tyler is very active and would love to do fatherly things with his son that he was not able to do with his own father. He wants to give the child everything that he never had. I think if
