Basically, it’s a man or a woman that know how to delegate, motivate, and inspire a professional output of success that drives a company into prosperity in the years to come. [Kin16] How can you apply the definition of management to better perform in your job? The way the definition of management can better my job performance by keeping me organized, that the first thing that comes to mind for me. I believe it will help better my planning abilities. Usually when I plan, nothing goes according to plans. Then I have to get organized to get the work done as best as I can.If I’m already organized and ready to go, plans could flop and I can still perform 100%. When it comes to leading and controlling, I feel that they both would fall into play while working. I have to keep records om many people and follow protocols to get my job done. The functions of management The functions of management include planning (setting goals and how to achieve them), organizing(create groups to take on specific parts of the operation), leading (delegate and motivate to the teams to get the jobs done), and controlling (basically overseeing the work in progress until completion, fixing or taking out possible road blocks along the way) [Kin16] How can you apply the functions of management to be more efficient and effective in integrating your MBA pursuit with work and family?
