Richard GalvezCHFD22004/07/17In the age of today’s time, sex is perceived as an everyday thing for everyone ranging from13 year olds and up. With the new wave of the children born in the 2000s, their parents are still parenting with old school techniques, telling them that boys have cooties or that girls are nothingbut trouble. Now this might not always be the case, and some parents might be lenient than others, parents tend to be hard asses on their kids so they don’t make the same mistakes they did.
The sexuality of old people vs. the sexuality of young kids is very different, ranging from age and knowledge to vital organ components in a human’s body. This cartoon creates an exact image of what I described. Their daughter is on the hospital bed, with the doctor holding a clipboard stating what she has, which is Cervical Cancer. Her parents on the other hand, specifically her dad, is showing a sign of being stunned, thinking she is having sex, or being pregnant. This picture clearly shows a sign of an overprotective dad, who doesn’t want to see his daughter engaging in any sexual activity. With this being said, it also involves the physiological, psychological, and social aspects of human sexuality and its everydaystudies.
