Afterwards, I will thoroughly analyze three actions that Judy Stokley took in order to change the project team’s culture and create a relationship of trust, mutual support, and teamwork between the government and contractors. I will support my response with three specific corresponding examples. Finally, I will thoroughly create a personal leadership development plan for Judy Stokley so that she may be eligible for future promotions to leadership roles beyond program director. The plan should, at a minimum, focus on promoting key leadership behaviors, designate specific strategies to promote a higher level of performance relative to the position, and specify actions that Judy could take to promote the AMRAAM culture in her new role. First I will begin by thoroughly describing specific practices that successful project managers apply in exercising their leadership and management roles overall. With the high rise of project failures, it is no secret that project managers search for various practices to implement to be successful. It is very unfortunate that some organizations would be content to complete their project with some grade of success. However, contrary to common believes, businesses expect projects to be executed quicker, more cost-efficient, and enhanced. Primarily, these goals can be accomplished through effective project management processes and procedures. I will commence elaborating on specific practices that successful project managers apply in exercising their leadership and management roles overall. The first practice project managers should apply in exercising their leadership and management roles is learning their team. A project manager should learn their team members’ strengths, weaknesses, aspirations, and ideas. This is an essential first step, which is critical, because this will benefit the bond between the project manager and their team. This step will
