Age group: 3-5 yearsLocation: Creative school for children UCFName: Girl S age 5Time: 8:00-8:15As I take a seat, Girl S immediately comes to me and introduces herself. She then runs to other kids and tells them about me. As other people arrive, Girl S runs to them to say “good morning” and talk. She dances around the room, copying another boy, who is shooting an imaginative gun and saying “piu piu piu!” She then takes a toy, puts it down, and continues to look for something that may be interesting. Girl S is full of energy and ready to communicate with everyone and explore. She seeks attention from adults by showing off her best dance moves. Other kids and being dropped off by their parents, and as they say “goodbye” and hug their children, Girl S looks at them very closely and with a bit of jealously. When another girl arrives, they go to the same corner and help serve breakfast. After that, Girl S come to the mirror where she looks carefully at her face and then starts posing. She watches other children run around then room while she dances. Time: 8:15-8:30Girl S takes a piece of paper and color pencils and starts drawing. She seats alone, picking different colors and drawing something. Girl S is very neat: she carefully places pencils back intothe cup after she uses them. Teacher sit down next to her and ask what is she drawing. Girl S replies “Snowflakes!” She then folds the paper and begins to cut the snowflake. When she finishes cutting it, teacher says that her snowflake is fancy, so Girl S starts to describe her work and highlight how pretty it is. She then gives the snowflake to the teacher and hugs her. Girl S is
