Tomato production proposal Introduction am interested in agricultural products business. This is because almost three quarters of the world depend on the agricultural products for their survival. On the same note, research shows that agriculture among the leading businesses in terms of the generation of income. The production of tomatoes for instance is picking well in countries like Kenya. The country has good water catchment areas and also has constructed many tanks of which one can hold a capacity of 5000litres which can be used for irrigation. It has also contracted the suppliers of chemicals and the seeds for inducing the crops. The project was borrowed from Israel where the income for the rural household is equally good as a result of the many agricultural projects which have been put in place. The crop requires a controlled temperature and irrigation for it to do well. The tomatoes in a greenhouse have a shelf life of 21 days as compared to those that are grown in the open places which have a shelf life of 14 days. The greenhouse tomatoes take two months to produce mature tomatoes while in the open place they take more than three months. The introduction of greenhouse tomatoes enhances hybrid farming which yields more and leads to high income generation and thus there is an enhanced rate of food production.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
