“God-Breathed” Greek word theopneustos translated “ inspired by God” means literally “ God-breathed .” Scripture is God-breathed in that God has breathed it out. Although human authors have written the Bible, God has been involved in the process in such a way as to say that He is the Ultimate Source of Scripture. On Inspiration

Theological Definition of Inspiration INSPIRATION Inspiration is the process whereby the Holy Spirit of God so guided and corrected the writers of Scripture so that what they wrote is what God wanted to be said, so that their words can also be called God’s Word.
