Use the percent difference between the initial momentum and final momentum of the system in your justification. In our experiments, we found that momentum was not conserved in quite a few experiments. The experiments that varied by more than 5% difference from initial momentum to final momentum were Case ii, and Case iv. In Case ii, there was a 29.3% difference and a 31.4% difference. In Case iv, there was a 11.1% difference and a 7.67% difference. Although momentum is meant to be conserved in each trial, possible experimental errors may have led to varied results.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
