Was the percent difference between the two values of the moment of inertia reasonable (that is to say ~10%)? What aspects of the experiment contributed most significantly to the uncertainty in the measured moment of inertia, and explain how these would affect your results? The % difference we calculated for our I calc vs. I measured was 62%. Our I measured = 1.5 x 10 -2 kg*m 2 and our I calc = 7.9 x 10 -3 kg*m 2 . Unfortunately, the percent difference we calculated was large, leaving room for experimental errors. Some possible experimental errors of this experiment could be a delay when measuring the amount of time it takes for the mass to fall to the floor. This would cause the calculation for torque and moment of inertia to be inaccurate. Another possible experimental error

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
