The planning fallacy is where an individual believes a task will proceed as planned with an optimism bias attitude and underestimate the duration needed to complete a task. There are several factors that affects this planning fallacy: 1. Individual has no knowledge with similar tasks in the past on the time needed to complete a task always take longer as planned 2.
