Objective : In this experiment we will be looking into uniform motion. Uniform motion is the motion of an object in which the object travels in a straight line and its velocity should remain cons tant the whole time it’s observed. Where d is the distance, t is the time and v is the velocity. This experiment is testing that, the velocity should stay the same since there is zero acceleration. Physical Principles & Laws tested and used : In this lab velocity is the principle that is being tested. Velocity is the rate of change in the distance an object travels, in a particular direction, per unit time, such as miles per hour, feet per second, meters per second, or centimeters per second.
