Teachers need to be very familiar with the outcome being assessed by the Achievement Standard Art History 91185. The achievement criteria and the explanatory notes contain information, definitions, and requirements that are crucial when interpreting the standard and assessing students against it. Context/setting This activity requires students to record their interpretation of and personal response to four art works and present this in a journal. The student’s response could be presented in any medium that allows information to be recorded and communicated, for example, a website, blog, or podcast.
